# Mining with Hardware

> What to expect when you point a Bitcoin ASIC at BasedMining.

If you have a Bitcoin ASIC at home — a Bitaxe, an S19, anything — BasedMining is built for you.

## What you get

    We don't take a cut of block rewards. Operator revenue is from Hashpower NFT sales — your mining is yours.

## How it works for you

    Point your ASIC at the pool's stratum endpoint, set your BTC address as the worker username, and pick any worker name you like.

  <Step title="Start hashing">
    The pool sees your shares the moment they start arriving. You'll show up on the live dashboard within a minute or two.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Win or earn — either way">
    If your share solves a block, Bitcoin sends 1 BTC to your address automatically. If someone else's share solves it, the operator distributes your share of the remainder to your address.
